Westcoast OneThe screws fixing the footplate to the stretcher (the one which can be used for height adjustment) probably have a stripped thread. This causes the footplate to come loose as you row. Nick Hunt 14th December 2010 done
OctopussySorry Martin! Whilst out this moring I managed to steer (with the aid of quite a strong undercurrent) the eight into one of the wooden posts by Molesey lock! I managed to bend the 'back stay' of the no7 rigger. We were able to continue rowing bu Fiona Reynolds 3rd January 2011 Backstay Straightened/okay to row-Replace sometime

007Contact with a moored boat near Kingston railway bridge has significantly bent one of the bow riggers. It is not useable until that is resolved. Andrew 1st July 2018
